Stuart Morton is a Partner in the Business & Professional Services practice at Odgers Berndtson in London and has a wealth of experience in strategic appointments in the legal profession.
He has made his reputation hiring specialist lawyers in-house and in private practice. In particular, he has niche expertise in recruiting banking and capital markets counsel, counting among his clients the premier investment banks and fund managers. He also has a consistent track record of identifying general counsel/heads of legal and first UK counsel for international corporates.
Stuart read Law at Oxford University before practising as a solicitor with Travers Smith Braithwaite. He left legal practice in 1995 to specialise in appointments for lawyers and subsequently spent more than eight years as a senior executive with legal specialists Chambers and Partners.
