Sarah Shaw

Sarah Shaw joined OdgersInterim as a consultant in the education practice. She’s based in the Birmingham office, but has a national portfolio. She looks after appointments in higher education as well as being a key member of the team working in the further education sector, educational and children’s charities and in libraries and business schools. Sarah has recently been appointed a Parent Governor of Coppice Primary School.

Sarah has ten years’ recruitment experience across a variety of sectors, both public and commercial.  She joined OdgersInterim from a generalist interim management provider where for two and a half years she was a principal, handling assignments in the West Midlands and supporting specialist sector heads. Her remit encompassed the charity, not-for-profit and commercial sectors as well as central and local government. 

Between 1998 and 2004 Sarah ran her own interim management and niche recruitment business in Surrey.  She specialised in the private sector, assisting start-ups and entrepreneurial initiatives. Sarah is no stranger to the challenges facing interim managers as she has worked as an interim executive herself in different marketing agencies. Sarah is a graduate of Reading University and began her career in market research and FMCG marketing.  At one stage she was responsible for creating drinks’ brands and she brings that flair for innovation to her work at OdgersInterim.
