Rupert Irving

Rupert Irving leads the Insurance practice for Odgers Berndtson in the UK. Based in the London City office, he conducts searches for senior management, executive and operational appointments across the sector. His specialisation also includes Reinsurance, Life and Employee Benefits, Pensions and Actuarial. Clients include Corporate Brokers, Insurance Companies, Underwriting firms and Consultancy organisations operating in the Lloyd’s of London and London International Markets, and the prime Insurance markets of the UK and Europe.

With over 15 years in executive search, he has a well established track record in the sector. He was previously with C T Bowring and Johnson & Higgins, both companies now part of Marsh Inc., in the UK (working in the Lloyd’s and London International markets in various Re/Insurance market facing positions) and latterly North America, Europe and the Middle East.

Rupert set up a boutique executive search firm in 2000 focusing on the Re/Insurance sector.
