Robert Watsham

Robert Watsham is Head of Wholesale and Transaction Banking within the Financial Services Practice at Odgers Berndtson, London.  Although covering most commercial banking products, his primary specialisation is on the transaction banking markets, covering operational services, payments and cash management, trade, supply chain and structured finance, custody and investor services, as well as institutional trust services.  He also operates within the global plastic cards and international payment services markets.
 
Robert’s early career was in trade finance and foreign exchange with National Westminster Bank and also Nordic Bank where he was a Relationship Manager responsible for Swedish corporate clients.

In 1983, he established a major banking-only recruitment consultancy in Kuwait and Saudi Arabia, subsequently becoming Director, Middle East & Africa, with responsibility for the whole of the Gulf area.

In 1987, Robert moved into Executive Search and has since focussed on non-executive and senior executive level assignments within the consumer and commercial financial services markets on a global scale.
