Rachel Stewart

Rachel joined the Financial Services Practice in 2010 to lead Equities & Equity Derivatives search for clients. Her executive search experience dates from 1999. The team focuses on senior appointments across Cash, Flow and Structured Derivatives sell-side functions: Research, Sales, Sales Trading, Execution, Prop Trading and Structuring. We have successfully delivered candidate solutions in Fund-linked, Strategic Solutions, Electronic Execution (Rachel has spoken at TradeTech and contributed to TheTRADE) and Equity Finance.

Rachel has collaborated with clients to complete assignments for the UK, developed and Emerging European, MENA, Asia Pacific and US markets, recruiting candidates internationally for London and locally based positions. Her extensive experience placing individuals and building teams includes working as a strategic partner sought out by senior decision makers for confidential market intelligence consulting, e.g. building new business units of 3-18 people. Diversity & inclusion projects form part of Rachel’s experience. She serves on a City Women’s Network Committee and on the Women in Listed Derivatives European Committee, and is delighted by the impetus to have more women included on Boards created by the Davies’ Review.

Rachel volunteers as a mentor on the Sponsors for Educational Opportunity programme and is affiliated with a school in her local community. Rachel holds a Joint Honours Master’s degree from Edinburgh University. She has lived in the UK, Netherlands and Hong Kong, travelling extensively in Europe, Asia and Africa.
