Peter joined Odgers Berndtson in 2008 as an Consultant within the Education Practice based in Leeds.
Prior to this, Peter spent 4 years as a Consultant with another national Executive Search and Selection firm focusing on a wide range of appointments across a variety of sectors and functions. These included Local and Central Government, Not for Profit organisations and the wider Public Sector. Over the last two years he has focused largely on appointments within the field of Children's Services, covering both Education and Social Care at a senior level. Recent assignments he has worked on include the Chief Executive of a Children's Charity, numerous Directors and Assistant Directors of Children's Services within Local Authorities, and multiple Board Directors of an Executive Non-Departmental Public Body, amongst others.
Prior to his work within Executive Search and Selection, Peter spent a period of time overseas in Japan, working with their Ministry of Education to devise and implement new methods of teaching and best practice. He has also assisted the DFES in developing and delivering a number of pilot projects.
Peter holds a BA Honours in History from the University of Nottingham.
