Mateja Forstnaric

Mateja Forstnaric, a Partner of Odgers Berndtson Vienna based in Ljubljana, has overall responsibility for parts of South Eastern Europe. With extensive executive search and consulting experience, Mateja conducts senior-level management search assignments across a range of sectors including major industries in Central and South Eastern Europe. Mateja successfully assists corporations of all sizes and ownership structures in building their leadership teams. She also provides leadership advisory services, such as management audits. Prior to joining Odgers Berndtson, Mateja successfully headed Heidrick & Struggles in SEE. She previously worked as a Director for SEE at Ray & Berndtson CEE, after running the EMBA Marketing, Sales and Admissions at one of the leading executive development institutions in the CEE. Her other professional experience includes consulting, working in marketing for DHL International. and a researcher for several academic institutions. Mateja holds an MBA and an MSc degree from IEDC - Bled School of Management. She has completed numerous academic courses at institutions such as Yale and Vienna University. Besides her native Slovenian language, Mateja also speaks Croatian, English, German and Serbian.
