Geneviève (Genny) has been the Managing Partner of Odgers Berndtson’s Montreal office since 2007. As a member of the Executive Committee of Odgers Berndtson, she is actively involved with the firm’s growth and national practices. Her impressive track record is a reflection of her ability to develop and nurture strong long-term relationships with industry leaders in helping them achieve their corporate objectives.
Since joining Odgers Berndtson, Genny has successfully completed hundreds of senior level assignments. Leveraging her in-depth knowledge of current business and cultural issues, Genny demonstrates a unique ability to analyze and assess personalities, behaviours and interpersonal skills to help determine an individual's fit with the cultural aspects of a client organization. Her areas of expertise in search include: financial services, professional services, energy, transportation, manufacturing and the not-for-profit sectors.
Prior to becoming a search professional, Genny spent twenty years as a consultant for information technology leaders such as Peoplesoft and Dun and Bradstreet Software. During that time, she worked closely with key private and public sector executives, providing a variety of consulting services such as business transformation program management, strategic planning, business architecture, change management, process reengineering, and executive recruitment.
Genny holds an undergraduate degree in business administration and an MBA, from the Université du Québec à Montréal. She is also the Chair of the Board for the Old Brewery Mission Foundation, the largest homeless shelter in Canada.
