Elin McFarlane

Elin has six years' experience in Executive Search. She joined Odgers Berndtson as a Researcher in late 2007 and soon after started working with the Healthcare team. She became an Associate in late 2009, focusing on senior managerial and clinical appointments in the NHS but continuing to work on a range of Executive and Non-Executive roles in the wider not-for-profit sector.

Elin previously worked at Hays Executive on a variety of senior public and private sector appointments as Researcher, and was additionally responsible for new researchers' induction and training.

Elin's earlier career was spent teaching English abroad in France, Japan and Poland, prior to which she studied French and Music at the University of Leeds. She was born and brought up in North Wales and speaks fluent Welsh.
