Chris Jones

Chris has been in senior level recruitment for 14 years. He is the Head of Private Sector for the Wales Practice based in Cardiff. He covers board level recruitment across general management, operations, HR, finance, sales & marketing and manufacturing.

Originally from Llanelli, Chris graduated with a Joint Honours BSc in Geology and Geography from the University of London, before serving as an officer in the Royal Regiment of Wales for six years.

Chris began his career in recruitment in Hong Kong with O’Neill Associates (now part of Heidrick & Struggles) focusing on the financial / derivatives markets. Upon returning to the UK, he joined Harrison Willis in Cardiff managing their Senior Financial appointments, before setting up his own Executive Recruitment company in Cardiff trading as Professional Recruitment which he ran for ten years prior to joining Odgers Berndtson in 2009.
