Alex Hamilton-Baily is a Consultant in focusing on senior executive and non-executive appointments in charities & foundations. Based in London, Alex joined the firm in March 2006 with a particular emphasis on the voluntary sector. He works with third sector organisations of all sizes, recruiting high calibre executives and Board members from the private and public sectors.
Alex spent a number of years working in industry in the Financial Services sector before, in 2002, beginning his executive search career, predominantly recruiting to senior financial roles. He then joined a competitors Not-for-Profit practice where Alex managed executive recruitment assignments for major charities, relevant government departments, agencies and the NHS. Alex has retained his interest in the commercial world and enjoys the challenge of recruiting private sector skills into the not-for-profit sector.
Alex was educated at University College London and graduated with a degree in Information Management. He is a Graduate Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (CIPD) and is a qualified psychometric assessor.
He is also a Trustee of Penny Brohn Cancer Care (formerly the Bristol Cancer Help Centre).
