Alec Whewell

Alec Whewell is a Partner in the Financial Services Practice, focusing on Board appointments in financial services. He also has a focus on investment management. 

Alec began his career in the publishing industry in London and then joined a specialist search practice as a Researcher.  He has focused on the financial services sector for a number of years, including with a leading investment banking specialist (1993 – 1996), where he concentrated on Equities, Corporate Finance and Investment Management searches.

He joined The Berwick Group in 1996 as Head of Research and then became a Director and Head of the Equities practice, joining Odgers Berndtson on its acquisition of Berwick in 2001.

Alec graduated in English from Cambridge University in 1986.
