Our board evaluation services are designed to help Chairs and/or CEOs appraise their board and reassure stakeholders of its efficacy, to identify current board strengths and possible areas for development.

Our board evaluation services are tailored to the needs of our client and we always work closely with the Chair or CEO to ensure our board appraisal is appropriately focused. Typically we can cover governance issues, an evaluation of the skills and personality of board members, or both services.

Our board appraisal processes use tailored questionnaires, together with in depth interviews of board members. We also often interview key stakeholders as part of our board evaluation to gain a rounded picture of how the governance processes and board effectiveness are viewed. If the Chair or CEO wishes us to do so, our final report can provide individual development recommendations for board members or we can facilitate a workshop, under the leadership of the Chair or CEO to put together a plan to increase the board’s effectiveness.
