The Challenge
We were asked to manage an International Talent Attraction Consultancy Project with the global E&P Operator, Hess. This was a worldwide branding, talent management and attraction campaign; a multi-assignment and multi-location project to attract scarce skill resources for 45 specific technical positions and for future requirements. Candidates could be locals or expatriates.
The Approach
The campaign was led from Hess’ regional headquarters in London. We were part of the client’s campaign advisory team coordinating international press and media advertising, supported by global executive search. More that 3,500 candidates were generated and engaged worldwide.
We managed the entire candidate handling process, including response and briefing, skills and experience matching, assessment, and candidate interviews. Global Executive Search ensured that candidate pools were ultimately fit for purpose.
At each location we worked with the corresponding local Hess office and relevant Human Resources / Resourcing Manager to deliver appropriate candidates and candidate pools.
Hess made local and expatriate hires for many of their specific positions. They also benefited from the resulting diverse and high quality talent pool of about 200 locals and expatriates for any future technical recruitment requirements.
