The task was to find a Group Head of Health Safety & Environment, based in the corporate head office in North West Europe. The requirement was for a bi-lingual, Corporate HSE Director, with upstream and downstream oil & gas experience, including onshore and offshore construction. The successful candidate had to be able to relocate to Paris and be prepared to travel 70% of the time on a global basis. The long list included candidates from Thailand, USA, UK, France, Norway, Kazakhstan, Nigeria and Angola. The successful candidate was a UK National from Houston.
