Looking to Join Research

The Research team at Odgers throughout our UK network of offices consists of over 80 people with a wide variety of backgrounds. Researchers have the opportunity to specialize into one of our 6 practice areas:

• Board
• Retail & Consumer
• Technology and Business Professional Services
• Public
• Energy, Manufacturing and Infrastructure
• Financial Services

In addition we have Researchers that specialise into function areas, namely:

• Human Resource Directors
• Chief Financial Officers
• Chief Information Officers
• Corporate Communications Directors

The Research team are responsible for supporting fee earners on assignments, a role which consists of identifying target companies and relevant names of individuals within them, compiling mapping documents, writing profiles of individuals, networking with industry sources and making candidate approach calls. The role is both varied and interesting and is a role with a career path which can lead to becoming a Career Researcher or moving into an Associate role with more delivery focus and of course ultimately into a fee earning role over time.
